New MAXIMA SPEED Dual-Polish Edger Debuting at OLA 2008-10-30
AIT Industries will be showing for the first time at the OLA a new version of our popular Maxima Speed, a three time nominee for the OLA Award of Excellence. The new version offers a new software program and wheel configuration that allows two levels of polish quality. Many lab customers desire a high luster polished edge on lenses. To do this automatically, we have added a specially formulated diamond wheel and an optimized cycle to produce the high luster polish. The machine also has a second polish wheel in order to produce our standard satin polish. With this configuration, a lab can optimize efficiency and production on polished lenses using recent changes to the VCA Communication standard to support the production of a hi luster or regular polished lens in a single machine.

One Eye Care Professional will win an AIT Remote Tracer and another will win an AIT Patternless Edger.
